Kraft: Driving sales and building brands

Kraft Foods is an American food and beverage conglomerate which owns many household name brands in more than 170 countries. Twelve of its brands earn more than $1 a year worldwide and forty are at least a century old. Cadbury alone has around twenty of its own brands in the UK confectionary market.

The company is most visible to consumers via its phenomenal brands and their marketing activity. The company has consistently been at the forefront of FMCG advertising and marketing. For example, Cadbury’s international success with their ‘Gorilla’ and ‘Eyebrows’ advertisements have redefined the role of TV advertising in driving advocacy and engagement.
